“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” James 4:17 and 1 John 3:4.
Many people have become confused concerning a sinless life while some dont just want to hear the topic, but always willing to blame, criticize or chastise another person / group for doing bad at some levels. Sincerely, some are confused not only because they are not paying much attention or listening deep, but because they did not understand what sin was in reality or practically. We need to know and explain to others that a temptation or trial is not a sin, but it is the yielding to temptation (i.e. doing what is wrong) that is a sin.
“All unrighteousness is sin.” 1 John 5:17. Therefore, all that is wrong is sinful.
There are but few people that will not confess that we should live right in this world, but to practically understand and apply this good is the issue. You and myself must not forget that “to live right in every way is the fruit of righteousness”
In application to individual life, let us work on what good we have to do as we drop off our evil ideologies, concepts and projects: Because to refuse to do a good thing known unto us when we have opportunity is wrong and displeasing to God.
