Transformed for Good?

”..and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2.

We will further listening to God on the Term “transformed”, linking us greatly to change and renewal of our minds. So, for a start, let’s look at the title as it concentrates its roots to tap from the concept of “metamorphosis.” When a tadpole is changed into a frog or when a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, we speak of it as a metamorphosis. That is what God wants for each of His children. At what stage are you in this Christian transformation? Are you staying in the larva stage? Caterpillar? Baby butterfly? Full-grown butterfly? Where are you on the conformity to Christ growth chart?

Individual Christian do indeed have a responsibility. Of course, The Spirit of God “changes” us for good and enables us to offer ourselves completely to God as inspired but this originally takes place only in the mind which is renewed or changed (“made new again or born again”) by the Holy Spirit. Note that Before you were saved, you were so accustomed to sin that you wore a heavy stone into your heart and mind, it was like a river cutting a heavy stone through rock. What you now need to do is make some new positive decisions and implement It as God wills. That’s why Paul says you must be transformed by the renewing of your mind at first..

Even though Paul is writing to the church, we are a group of individuals. These scriptures are speaking specifically to YOU. Will one diseased fish affect the whole tank? Will one mad cow infect the whole herd? Will one person with conformity to the world have an effect on our church? The answer is YES! Hence, I dare you to be different. Stand up for Christ. Don’t go with the flow; go against the grain. Rebel against/critisize the status quo that are deceitful, unhealthy and unyielding.— become a disciple of Christ. Your life will be an adventure. Presentable bodies come from changed minds because the mind controls the body. May your Beliefs in God start and continue to impact your behavior to His taste, Amen in Jesus Name! Shalom
