“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-21
What does it means to be an ambassador and “What difference would it make if we go out each day seeing ourselves as God’s ambassador? Have you seen God use anyone or yourself in this way?”. Comment “Why do you think God chooses to make His appeal to third party through these persons or you?” I am asking you this questions to help and remind us all of this truth, and responsibility, as well as to penetrate our hearts in group or as an individual.
The apostle John in the beginning of his first epistle states, “We write this to make our joy complete.” To better understand this, let me ask you a question: Is it possible to sit down and eat your favorite meal with a group of friends and not make some smile or otherwise grunt? I am thinking and believing in God for you, that with the sincere help of the Holy Spirit “you instinctively want to complete your joy in Jesus Christ, right?”. Good luck as you do what it takes to get joy eternal. shalom!
