”Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” Zechariah 4:6; 1 John 5:14.
Prayer is getting us prepared to do God’s will and for God to act more on His will for us. Prayer is not a dissertation by which we send God out to run our errands. Once we are living within the will of God, we will be surprised at the amazing things that start happening. Note that Prayer releases supernatural power into your life. Don’t just think about the things you would like to improve, pray about them. Pray until you put things into action. There is nothing more exciting than watching as God’s plan for your life unfolds. It is something beyond spectacular, and a great reward for those who faithfully seek Him.
God is just waiting to hear from you, so call on His name and give Him the broken pieces of your life (see Philippians 4:6-7). Of course, Prayers with the influence of Holy Spirit can shatter the shackles of misery that are binding you, keeping you from enjoying the abundant life that is the inheritance of every Believer.
This doesn’t mean your life is Aso villa-lounge merry-path every day, but it means that you can have the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding regardless of what is taking place around you. Prayer can break controlling habits that are destroying your life; it can renew your hopes and dreams. It can give you a song in the night when everything around you makes no sense at all, when you are willing to skip the word of God and His will. Pray without ceasing and your life will be completely transformed from the inside out. Peace be unto you!
