“But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to HIS own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began..” 1 Corinthians 12:7; 2 Timothy 1:9; Romans 8:28.
God doesn’t want us to miss the point! If you are a Christian, you have been given a spiritual gift that you are to use to the benefit of Humanity, in service, or ministry for the Lord. Here in 2018, You and I must not be tagged “inactive Church/Group/Team/Unit member”, nmba. NOTE: If you’re a believer, you’re in the ministry and you will someday give an account to the Lord of how you fulfilled the ministry that HE entrusted to you.
Some would say “But I lack the gifts to serve the Lord,” remember, God never calls you to a ministry where He doesn’t also give you the gifts to fulfill. Well, This is not to say that it will be effortless or easy oo, even if one has multiple gifts, yet more tasking especially when it’s not for worldly gains as a result of work, but it is more desired task since the provision and solutions comes from the Real Source (GOD). Remember Paul, when considering the responsibility of preaching the gospel, exclaimed in 2 Corinthians 2:16 “And who is adequate for these things?” He answered that question by Himself in 2 Corinthians 3:5, “Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God.” Shalom!
