”For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:2-3.
God wants us to have His Mind i.e. His thoughts, His viewpoint -in every situation. He wants us to have the supernatural ability to discern everything that happens to us from His vantage point and His perspective, and not get too proud or otherwise too bogged down and buried by our own negative thoughts and feelings or by what we can “see” going on. Sometimes we zoom too much otherwise too low and end up not getting the focus/point/quality right. But, If we can see from His perspective, with the right lense, at the right zooming level for each right shot, on the right focus, then we’ll be able to “soar” above our circumstances, our problems, and our trials and not get buried under them.
Of course, We serve a generous God who delights in giving us opportunities sometimes naturally and humanly-speaking beyond our capabilities and level respectively. We can actually achieve any focus if we put on the Holy Spirit, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of God that created HIM, Christ, ourselves, everyone and everything. He has promised to equip us, and remain with us through each bend in the road. So shall it be in Jesus Name!
