“But YOU, O LORD, are exalted forever” Psalm 92:8.
NOTE: Indeed, whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that, through patient endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we would have hope. The Scriptures have passed a lot of message to this generation, not keeping us in the dark. It has ultimately made us realise, that, “the fear of GOD is the beginning of understanding, wisdom, and knowledge” (Study Proverbs 1:7, Proverbs 9:10, Psalm 19:9, Psalm 33:8, Psalm 111:10, and Ecclesiastes 12:13).
In absence of genuine love and fear of GOD as of a Child to his FATHER, the world becomes a strange, mad, painful place, and life in it a disappointing and unpleasant business for many today, mostly frustrating and leading to suicide for those who do not know about GOD, with no right knowledge to apply quality Hope and faith in HIM, talkless of fearing HIM to value and preserve the life HE gave. See, Loving and fearing GOD for who HE is and what HE is capable of doing is crucially important for living our lives. Ahh! I commend GOD each time I remember how a good earthly Father treated his child to correction when the child offended him, and how well he instructed, supported, upgraded and Pat the child when the child satisfied his wish.
Most embarrassing thing is that the child (Church) has surrendered her once lofty concept of GOD and has substituted for it one so low, so ignoble, as to be utterly unworthy of thinking, worshipping men. This she has done not deliberately but little by little and without her knowledge, and her very unawareness only makes her situation all the more tragic.
Help quicken the church to remember her first love. HE is infinitely exalted above all creation. As revealed, “In days past, men and women who knew what it was to walk in the fear and love of the LORD had raised, as a basis for their lives, the concept of GOD as “high and exalted.” However intimate their communion with GOD, they were gripped by the fact that GOD was high and lifted up.” (Study 1 Corinthians 10)
Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Peace be unto You!
